	A marketing outfit established in 1962, we started with marketing of hardware in the name of Maharashtra Hardware Syndicate. We then diversified to marketing and servicing of Industrial Batteries & Battery chargers under the name of Industrial Battery Service Centre.Continuing our diversification we added more products like cables, power factor improvement capacitors, automobile batteries, automobile test equipment, adhesive tapes for electrical & electronic applications, Wind - Solar based power generation, etc. with a total business worth of about Rupees 100 million (US $2.75m) per year. We started our International business in the name of Rahul Industrial Associates when in 1991, we started to look after the Indian business of M/s. Brush Electric Machines, U.K. for their Automobile Test Equipment. We now represent M/s. Scansys SA, Belgium and M/s Dynamotive Ltd., UK. who focus on testing solutions mainly for the automobile industry. We further expanded our international business interest by starting an office in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2002 under the banner of Hind Afghan. While the focus here is on Afghanistan, our future interest would be to expand to Central Asia. Here, through strategic partnerships, we have successfully executed a software project for billing system for Kabul telephones.
